Dear Fellow Martyrs—man, what a sorry week…. Between news events surrounding Paul Ryan, Killary, and Lois Lerner, it’s obvious that We, the People live in a fascist country run by liars and thieves. It’s obvious that justice and law, in progressive America, have no meaning. Which is why, when not hoarding ammo and stacking guns in the bomb-shelter, I scribble subversive songs full of anger and bitter heartbreak that make you’re suffering seem comparatively MILD…. Yes, I hurt, so you don’t have to—a gun-loving, flag-waving, Bible-thwacking troubadour, deep in the dell with his heart on his sleeve!
P.S. I appreciate your indulgence. With the state of the country being what it is, it’s become a full-time job to fight despair. Indeed, without Christ, I wonder how people manage—without the Lord’s promise, I couldn’t get out of bed.
